  • Who is this for? Do I have to own a business?

    Honestly, this course was created for heart-led women who know they are meant to make a difference in this world. Most of them are entrepreneurs or know they want to start a business (or even a non-profit.) But the modules are designed for anyone, even someone who may not have a business yet. Ideally, you are a woman who wants to show up in a bigger and bolder way on social media and probably have a business in mind.

  • I do network marketing. Can I still take this course and find benefits?

    Absolutely! Network marketers often struggle with how to brand themselves outside of their company they represent, so this course will be incredibly helpful.

  • I have a lot of commitments. What if I can't finish this quickly?

    This course is completely self-paced. Take each course one at a time and soak up the ah-ha moments and revelations you have as you complete the assignments. There's not perfect pace; it's whatever feels right for you.

I went from a teenage, single mom to the youngest female partner in my corporate insurance agency. I was on top of the world, or so I thought. Then one day, it all came crashing down. In 2015, my partnership ended, my career was over, and I was escorted out of my cushy office. I had no idea what was next for me. Less than a week later, I emerged from the fog and launched Savvy Girl Media, with a mission to help women become successful entrepreneurs so they do not have to rely upon a "9 to 5" gig to sustain them. After 6 years of pouring love into the 'Savvy Girl' brand, I launched "Modern Lightworkers." I offer Shine Coaching, publishing coaching and services, branding services, online courses, and photography. You can tune in weekly to the Modern Lightworkers podcast for inspiration and encouragement. Since launching my own business in 2015, I have helped thousands of women through speaking, coaching, masterminds, conferences, workshops, and retreats. I have published 9 books and assisted more than 30 women in becoming first time authors. My sixth book, "The New Rules of the Sisterhood" was featured on ABC's Good Morning Texas. I am a badass mom of 3, and madly in love with my soulmate and biggest fan, Harold, a fabulous chef and often the life of the party. I am also a bonus mom to his 2 daughters, and fur-mama to our newest rescue pup, Harley. When we are not working, you will probably find us exploring a new restaurant or brewery in the DFW area or planning our next getaway to Mexico for margaritas. Also, queso is my love language. Oh, and that baby I had as a teenager? She is now a college graduate, working for a prestigious woman-owned law firm in Dallas, and the proud mama of my first grandbaby, Rémi Morgan.
